Created in 1978, HFA is a member of the Texas State Soccer Association, South and is affiliated with the United States Soccer Federation. HFA is a non-profit organization. Due to the growth in the organization, a permanent office was established to assist the membership and to administer the league on a professional basis. HFA has grown to 70 teams representing more than 55 nations.

The Internet Nonprofit Center is a project of The Evergreen State Society based in Seattle, Washington, USA. The Internet Nonprofit Center is the home of the Nonprofit FAQ. The FAQ is based on "frequently asked questions" – and their answers – drawn from the 'Nonprofit' email discussion forum (see http://www.rain.org/mailman/listinfo/nonprofit) and other online resources. Its editor is Putnam Barber. The file http://www.nonprofits.org/lib/faq.html contains answers to several frequently asked questions about this site. Social Ecology, a Seattle-based software development company and application services provider, hosts the Internet Nonprofit Center as a public service. Michael Gilbert, President of Social Ecology, programmed the content management system for the Nonprofit FAQ and assists with the maintenance of the site. The Internet Nonprofit Center was founded by Cliff Landesmann. The Nonprofit FAQ was created by Ina Frank, Jayne Cravens, Putnam Barber and others. Material in the Nonprofit FAQ may be copied for noncommercial use unless copyright is explicitly reserved to the original author or publisher of an item. Commercial use (including reproduction for distribution at a conference or seminar for which a fee is charged) requires permission from the Editor and, often, payment of a reprint fee. The NGWA was founded in 2001 by Executive Director Jeff Nelson. Jeff is a former NCAA Division II Regional All American with more than twenty-five years of combined playing and coaching experience. Through his experience, Jeff found that many goalkeepers were not getting the support they needed to develop into top notch players. Jeff decided to use the sport of Goalie War as a tool to promote soccer goalkeeping and to increase awareness of the demands of this highly specialized position. Jeff founded the National Goalie War Association to provide continuing education, training, recognition and support for soccer goalkeepers.

We do not sell insurance or endorse organizations that do.
